The DeWitt Police Department is a 24-hour service driven agency dedicated to meeting the needs of our residents. If you witness a crime, have a concern or to report suspicious activity please call 911 for emergencies or 563-659-3145 for non-emergencies. 

Pet registration renewals are DUE BY APRIL 1st of every year! 

FEES are $10.00 spayed/neutered and $30.00 for not altered. 

You may pay the following methods: Online at www.cityofdewittiowa.org; with your utility bill; via postal service or at City Hall or the Police Department during regular business hours.  

You may register new pets anytime during business hours at the Police Department.  Monday-Thursday 8am-3pm and Friday 8am-2pm.   

We are asking you to provide a home email address, so that we may contact you through email next year when renewals are due.  You will still receive a notification card via postal service on March 1st.

***Penalty fees start APRIL 2nd and are $10 per month.  No partial payments will be accepted.  You may view the city ordinance pertaining to pets at www.cityofdewittiowa.org. Payment options can be addressed to City Hall, by calling 563-659-3811 during regular business hours.
